Pursuant to an order of the Chief Judge of the State of New York through the Office of Court Administration‘s Chief Administrative Judge the Rye Town court will not be in session until May 30, 2020.
A special consolidated part will be established in a local city court to be determined for any essential matters such as arraignments and the issuance of temporary orders of protection.
All eviction proceedings and eviction orders are suspended until further notice.

The Rye Town Court is located within the Village of Port Chester and has jurisdiction in Port Chester, Rye Brook and the Rye Neck section of Mamaroneck. The Court Address is 350 North Main Street in Port Chester.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Town Law of the State of New York the court has two elected justices. Each judge sits on the bench one day per week to cover criminal and civil matters and one night per month to hear vehicle and traffic or small claim cases. Judges are on call 24 hours per day to arraign any person who has been arrested.
There is a complete staff, one court clerk and one assistant to cover court. In addition there are certified foreign language interpreters at each Court Session. We recommend you call the court clerk during office hours before coming in person.
