The Crawford Mansion Community Center is open!

It’s been a long process, but the renovations are finally complete. New windows, doors and updated HVAC system were installed, vastly improving energy efficiency throughout the building. The original historic assets were not only preserved, but a spectacular fireplace in a main floor hall has been discovered and restored. Along with the modernization, ADA Compliant features have been built out in all bathrooms, and an elevator was installed outside the Entrance Hall.

Please click here to view the most recent renderings of the NEW rooms!

CAI Technologies (Tax Mapping & GIS)

(Best source for tax maps)

CAI Technologies is the Town's tax map maintenance company and their site has the most recent tax map information.  Parcels can be searched by owner, address or parcel ID (section/block/lot).

Other map layers are available.  Some of the other maps include contour, community facilities, FEMA (flood), sewer, school, water district, fire district, and more.

Flood maps may also be searched on FEMA website:  https://msc.fema.gov/portal

CAI also has measuring tools and individual tax maps can be easily printed.

IMPORTANT NOTE

If you find there is a discrepancy in your property data ("inventory") or sketch, please be sure to contact us as soon as possible, as it is extremely important that we have accurate information. You can use the Inventory Change Request button on the Town's OARS website to do this. Click here for Inventory Change Request Instructions.

Parking and Beach Access Fees For Rye Town Park

The park and beach are open to the general public.  You don’t have to be a resident to use the park.  Persons can pay on a daily basis or purchase season permits, which provide discounts to people planning to use the beach and park frequently.

Residents of Rye City, Port Chester, Rye Brook and Rye Neck get discounts on both daily rates and season permits.

Non-residents of these communities can also buy season permits, at higher rates.

There are three categories of permits for residents and non-residents: Senior, Single, and Family.

Parking Only permits can also be purchased, which provide for unlimited free parking during the beach season.

Daily rates for parking and beach access are higher on weekends than weekdays.

The daytime parking rates are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Evening parking rates run from 7 p.m. until the park closes.  Daytime beach access rates are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Late Afternoon beach access rates are from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Evening Beach access rates are from 7 p.m until closing. Residents are free after 7 p.m for beach access.

See the complete chart of the 2019 daily and seasonal permit rates on the permits and fees page.

Pre-Season Operations: Starting May 3rd, the permit office is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pre Season fees are charged for parking starting in April.

Tips on Searching for a Parcel
Picture

Depending on the browser you are using, you normally can search a .pdf document by clicking [Edit] and [Find].  In the find box type in part of an owner name (last name only is recommended) OR part of an address (street number plus first 4+ letters of street name).

The more information you put in the find box, the more restrictive the search, the less likely you will find what you are looking for.  Do not include street, drive, circle, place, etc. in the street name.

IMPORTANT:  For streets names preceded by north, south, east or west, be sure to include "N.",  "S.", "E.", or "W." in front of the street name.

Streets with such directionals include:

N. Barry Avenue

N. Main Street

N. Regent Street

N. Ridge Street

N. Wagner Avenue

S. Barry Avenue

S. Main Street

S. Regent Street

S. Ridge Street

E. Boston Post Road

E. Broadway

W. William Street

W. Glen Avenue
