Rye Town Park 1925 Bath House Roof Restoration
NOTICE OF SOLICITATION OF GENERAL CONTRACTORS FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE ROOF OF THE RYE TOWN PARK 1925 BATH HOUSE RYE, NEW YORK 10580
Sealed bids for the restoration of the roof of the Rye Town Park 1925 Bath House will be received until 5:00 PM on February 1, 2019 at the offices of Easton Architects, LLP, 20 West 44th Street, Suite 604, New York, NY 10036 (Attn: Lisa Easton), where they will be opened and read. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Bidding and Contract Documents. Bidders must have a minimum of 5 years successful experience in completion of similar projects for State, National or locally registered landmarks.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond each for 100% of the amount of the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project. The completion date for the project is Memorial Day 2019.
Funding for this project comes in part through a State Municipal Facilities Program (“SAM”) grant administered by the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY). Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. Thus the following goals have been set for this Project: 25% of the contract value for MBE’s and 10% of the contract value for WBE’s. All bidders are required to submit, with their bids, their M/WBE Utilization Plan and an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Policy Statement.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on January 22, 2019 at 2:00PM at the project location, the Rye Town Park 1925 Bath House, 95 Dearborn Avenue, Rye, NY. RSVP is required.
