Facility Rentals and Catering
Two large pavilions are located next to the restaurant and administration building. Groups interested in renting the use of a pavilion for a party or other event can do so through the restaurant or Rye Town Park. Beach parties may be scheduled after 5 p.m. at the north beach barbeque area.
Pavilion Rentals –Each pavilion can accommodate a maximum of 100 people. The pavilions have roofs that enable events to be held even in case of light to moderate rain. Rentals can be arranged for late morning, afternoon or evening four-hour time slots.
They are easily accessible from the visitor parking lot and Dearborn Ave for convenient set-up. The rental fee, for up to a maximum of four hours, is $400.00 Monday through Friday and $500.00 on Weekends and Holidays. This includes the use of a grill, tables and chairs. Renters provide their own food, supplies and decorations. Electrical connections are available. A $150 refundable deposit is required.
North Beach Barbeque Area Rentals - Two beach barbeque grills are built into the wall on either side of the north beach gate.
Each grill can accommodate up to 25 people, and groups can rent a maximum of two grills. The fee is $75 per grill. A maximum of two rental events will be scheduled at the same time. During the park’s beach swimming season, barbeque grill rentals can only be held after five p.m., for a maximum of up to four hours.
All rental events must end by 10 p.m.
