The Town of Rye Tax Office services the Villages of Port Chester, Rye Brook and Mamaroneck, also, the County of Westchester and School district taxes are levied and collected for all three Villages. The Town of Rye Tax Office also levies and collects Village taxes for the Villages of Port Chester and Rye Brook. The Town of Rye guarantees the County, School Districts and Villages levies whether or not the taxes have been collected.

 

For the “2006” tax year, over $136,000,000.00 was levied for all taxing jurisdictions. The Tax Receiver is Nicholas C. Mecca who has worked in the Clerk’s Office for over 15 years as a Intermediate Clerk and Records Management Clerk.  The Deputy Receiver is Carol Truance. Keeley Bodas, John Michael Concha and Theresa Mitchell are the Tax Aides.
