Rye Town Revaluation Pays Big Dividends
After two years of numerous public meetings and extensive input, the Town of Rye in 2004 decided to undergo a long overdue town-wide property assessment revaluation. This action, although unpopular at this time, truly benefited all the taxing jurisdictions in the Town of Rye, including the Villages, the County and more importantly, the Schools.
