Food Bank for Westchester Launches Freedom from Hunger Campaign

The Food Bank for Westchester has launched its Freedom from Hunger campaign to help feed hungry individuals and families in Westchester County this summer. Here’s how you can help: fill up the “Freedom from Hunger Bag” (or a bag of your own) at any of the county’s food pantries or soup kitchens. The Food Bank for Westchester will also be accepting donations at their Millwood site. Visit www.foodbankforwestchester.org/services/food_patch_directory.html for a list of hunger relief agencies by municipality.Items should be non-perishable, sealed and not expired. You can donate as many items and as often as you’d like. If you can’t make it to any of the drop-off locations, there’s another great way you can help.
