  • Ridge Street Bridge Closure

    The Bridge carrying Ridge Street over I-287 in the Village of Rye Brook will be closed to traffic from Wednesday, June 5, 2013 to August 16, 2013.  Construction will be accelerated during this time to completed the work during summer months.  A signed detoure will direct Ridge Street traffic onto Purchase Street (Route 120) and Westchester Avenue (Rte 120A) for he duration of the closure.

  • 2013 WEST NILE VIRUS PREVENTION

    2013 WEST NILE VIRUS PREVENTION EFFORTS TO BEGIN MAY 13

    Due to notification requirements, the Westchester County Department of Health will begin evaluating catch basins throughout the county for standing water and will apply larvicide as needed starting Monday, May 13. These efforts are intended to eliminate breeding sites for mosquitoes that can carry West Nile Virus.
